Chad Parizman is the Principal & Founder of Ader Communications, a consultancy focused on helping brands elevate unique voices. Ader Communications was created to help brand marketers & storytellers better connect with their audience. He has spent more than 20 years in digital marketing and content strategy, with a focus on growth through data and metrics insights. Prior to starting Ader Communications, Chad was the Head of Digital & Social Communications at Pfizer where he built and managed a team of content creators focused on telling Pfizer’s story of Breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. Before Pfizer Chad held a number of roles at Scripps Network Interactive, launching many of their first social media and mobile initiatives. Chad currently lives in New Jersey and finds time to listen to more than two dozen podcasts a week.

Besides consuming podcasts at an alarming rate? I’d have to say Lego collecting & building.
What’s the last book you read?
I’m making my way through Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series and recently finished the 4th book – Wizard and Glass.
Why do you do what you do?
I’ve always been fascinated by the next thing coming up over the horizon. The learning and building and connecting the dots part of any project is always my favorite part. I see podcasting and audio content as the new big wave of brand storytelling where a lot of connections are going to be made.
What is your favorite quote?
One favorite is hard, but my favorite author is Terry Pratchett and this is a good one that seems appropriate for where I am in life right now – “If you trust in yourself…and believe in your dreams…and follow your star…you’ll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren’t so lazy.” The Wee Free Men
What is your latest accomplishment?
Leaving the corporate world after 22 years and starting my own business.
What would you say is your chief characteristic?
My top StrengthFinder trait it Strategic, but I like my 5th trait – Maximizer – the most. I have a large and diverse network of friends and colleagues around the globe and I love being able to connect folks from different circles and build up those relationships.
What makes you happy?
My wife. My dogs. A visit to Disney World with a reservation at a hard-to-get restaurant. Seeing my nieces and nephew experiencing something for the first time.
